Clint Eastwood's critically acclaimed grumpy-old-man-in-a-changing-world drama "Gran Torino" opened in wide release last weekend, making nearly $30 million and taking the #1 spot at the box office. It trounced all other newcomers including "Bride Wars" & the horror film "The Unborn".
