"Slumdog Millionaire" success - GOLDEN GLOBES
"Slumdog Millionaire" is not an average Oscar contender. It's not about World War II survivors or tragically flawed geniuses.
It doesn't star Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet, or Meryl Streep.
"Slumdog" has no big-name actors, a miniscule budget, and a good chunk of the flick was shot in Hindi.
With the film racking up 4 awards at Golden Globes, and taking 5 trophies at last Critics' Choice Awards, "Slumdog Millionaire" has become an unlikely front-runner for Oscar gold. Why has this movie, which as late as last spring looked like it might be released straight to DVD, become such a huge hit with both critics and audiences?...

GOLDEN GLOBS AWARD-WORST DRESSED
Miley Cyrus [AKA HANNAH MONTANA] missed the mark in HER age-inappropriate Marchesa mess and hair extensions.Best Actor winner Mickey Rourke shoked a repulsive getup with a dirty head of hair, a truly tacky wallet chain, and a sequined scarf.

Renee Zellweger paired her shoulderless Carolina Herrera organza bib with a mermaid skirt and unsightly updo.
